The Closing of a Chapter

20 07 2010

Well dear blog readers, I am leaving  Burayu and Ethiopia. I sprained my neck a few weeks back and it is very painful for me. I have made the choice to return to America for treatment and rest. I am doing so with the full blessing of my Church Elders and the GGI leadership.

I do not make the choice lightly. It is not easy to leave a project that is just beginning to bear fruit. The  school is up and running.  Sandy combined classes today and taught all our children spoken English. We have 30 children enrolled for the summer program.  I know she will do a great job with our kids. They love her very much.  No one { except of course JESUS} could love and care for our children more than she does. I continue to pray for a missionary team to come and replace us when the year is up in October.

Our little school will need volunteer English teachers with a sound foundation in Christ. There is such a need here for mentoring the youth. I have done what I can . The seeds we have planted will need watering if they are to grow to the full stature of mature  Christians. I trust in HIM . HE  knows their needs better than we do.

I am praying that I will be blessed with a ministry in Arizona after I have had a little time to recover. Yes, I said Arizona. I am moving there to get married . I was planning to move there in October and we are planning the wedding for November. I will just be home a few weeks earlier than I had originally planned. But that is a  whole  other story. Maybe I will write a blog about Tonto Basin Az.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to share the  stories of our ministry with you at home and other various places around the world.

In Christ Our Lord and Savior, Carole Anne Wilson

Carole,
” For thou shalt eat the labor of thy hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall
be well with thee. Psalm 28:2

Sandra,
” And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of the water, that bringeth forth hiw fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1: 3

God Bless and keep you both.
Love Judith
